This is the story of how Sipho from Southern Africa in a rural village became an orphan when his mother passed away. He is not the only orphan there and they call themselves the Bundu Bunch. They live in a hut on the outskirts of the valley. Nice read and congrats on BOTD.

Aiyasha seems to have gone through plenty of hardships very early on in life. Caring for other orphans at the mere age of 15 must've also taken a toll on her mental health. I sincerely hope this inspiring story reaches the right audience who will truly appreciate it. Congrats on the BOTD, and thanks for the detailed review.

I am not very sure I approve of the title of this book. While it may be an interesting read, the title in my opinion is somewhat off.

This book seems to address thought-provoking topics such as man's behavior when privileged in a position of power. Aiyasha's character looks like an exemplary person who, despite the circumstances, does not stop looking at the bright side of life. It sounds inspiring.

This is a fine review of what appears to be a lovely book. Interestingly, I just finished reading a book about orphans, so am going to skip this right now. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

"Dumb" Orphans" by Allan Low. A well written story. Aiyasha been orphaned at the age of fifteen took up the responsibility in taking care of other seven children without good food, education and good living conditions. That doesn't stop them from looking at the bright side of life. Determination, resilience is the key, success was the only option. Congrats on your #BOTD.

The story describing the lives of orphans is definitely not my cup of tea. There was orphanage in my neighborhood growing up, we played together, were friends and I was eye witness to the hardships they were facing. Many tried to help out, but it's never enough. Anyway congrats and thanks for bringing it to public attention!

This is a very educative book that I believe needs to be read by every young child. In America especially, children do no realize how blessed they are to have clean water and a place to rest their heads at night. Thanks for the great review!

"Dumb" Orphans" by Allan Low brings us the story of Aiyasha, who, although orphaned at the age of fifteen, herself takes care of seven other orphans in very poor conditions. Through the books, the themes of determination and resilience run through the book.
