I keep some of them. I will give a book to a friend who is interested in one I have. I donate books I will not read again. I reread my favorites.

Depends on the book if it was so good I couldnt put it down and read straight through the night I keep and re-read later on at a slkwe pace. If its in a series then I definitely keep to read and refresh my memory right before the next comes out. All other booms I pass on to friends and share.

I keep them most times unless I didn't like it to begin with. I sometimes keep my books in a box but that drives me nuts. I however do like to display them on a bookshelf but it takes up a lot of room. I reread them sometimes 3-4 times. Depends how much I like the book. I may even read it more or I simply keep it so I can keep track of what books I have already read.
When you're wrong, your really wrong. When you're right, you're a pain in my a$$.

I put in back on the shelf next to the other books I've read. I have books on my shelf arranged from size and if they've been read or not. I love when I can add more to my read section. It makes me feel like I've accomplished something really big!

I just put them on my shelves. I can't imagine throwing a book away of selling it. I love to look at them before I go to bed. And if I had enough money I would build a whole room, full of books - my personal library.

It depends on the book.
If I've really enjoyed it, I'll definitely put it back on my shelf and keep it, read it again at some point. Or I'll lend it to someone else (namely my book-loving older brother!) so that they can read it and enjoy it too!
If I didn't think that much of it I'll give it away to someone that I think will like it better, sell it or donate it to charity- I'll never ever throw a book away, they're far too precious!

I generally store my books on shelves once read, and even before that. I almost never give books away and often read them again, although that is becoming more difficult as I get more authors requesting reviews.

If it is a paperback or hardcover I take them to the local nursing home. My books stay on the reader in case I want to re read them. Some of thee books are in the cloud so that that don't use space..

I tend to keep mine as well. I borrow a lot of books so I can test them out, I try not to buy books unless I think I'm going to reread them because it really bothers me to throw them out. It just feels wrong. And I can't give them away if I didn't like it? Donating isn't easy, even apart from the money I've lost.

If I have bought an actual book then I will definitely keep it because I only by books that I know I will read over and over again. On my Kindle I just store them away in a collection for a later time. I am a firm believer in the library so I always return my books when I have finished them! :)

I keep all my books, which is very cumbersome for a person who moves about every two years! I have trunks and trunks of books. Some I keep at my parents house, those that I know I won't re- read too often ( which isn't many). I re- read again and again! I have recently started buying ebooks and audio books on the iPhone to help lighten the load of books. I also rent books at the library quit often. :D

If it is too good to resist, I reread it. But usually that's not what happens. When I finish a regular book I put it into my done pile, or shelf. Then I retrieve and I start another from my new/reread pile. Once I've finished all the new and rereads I find a shelf for them and they sit until I'm ready to read them again or somebody asks to borrow it. Recently however my family just moved so a lot of my book collection either got left behind without my knowledge (because they know I would want to save them all) or is packed away in boxes, or got thrown away (again without my knowledge).

Some books are keepers. I know I will retread at some point in time. Those that I do not decide to keep get traded in at the local used bookstore for store credit - those that the store does not take get passed on to others either by donating or given to friends who also read. Ebooks just get removed from the device when I'm finished.

I generally keep my books (comes from a fear of not having something to read. I scrounged books all thru my childhood, never had enough to read). But if I truly don't like it or have duplicates, I'll donate to charity or give to friends. In either case books are friends and you treat them gently.

I use goodreads.com and have all the books I own listed on there. I am from a small town and our library isn't very well stocked so I have friended all of my friends on the site so they are able to see what I have and can come over and borrow anything that they are wanting to borrow. I like to share the books that I have already read with others to enjoy.
