I keep the ones I like and hard-to-get rare ones. Anything else I give to friends or to to Deseset Industries. Ive tried to sell books at yard sales, etc. but never had much luck with that.

I either save mine to re-read, let my grandmother read them, or donate them.

I rarely re-read any of my books, unless I've forgotten I've read it and then quickly realise that I have after the first few pages. I keep all my books; don't mind lending out the paperbacks to family, along with a bookmark for them to use, as I insist on no bendy corners!! I keep all my books, have a fantastic collection of all different types, including very old rare books. My bookshelf is 2 deep and I have books in bags and boxes under my bed, in cupboards and anywhere else there is a space! I am somewhat obsessed with or even addicted to books, but I believe reading is one of the healthiest pursuits around!! :-D

I pass them along or donate them. No matter how much I enjoy a book, I never want to re-read it.

If it's a good book, I keep it. A badly written book, on the other hand, will be exchange for new books at the local bookstores :)

I would very much like to keep the books. Unfortunately, I do not own a house, and am on constant move. So, as an alternative I give all my books to my brother!

I like to write my views on the book in a private notepad. A short summary and my likes and dislikes. Then I store the book and read it later to find new angles. Sheer pleasure!

I store it in my book shelf or lend to my sisters who enjoy reading as I do. Just like serenity01, I cannot re-read a book no matter how much I've enjoyed it maybe I should consider donating them in future - just a thought for now :?:.

I would never throw a book away! As for donating it, giving it away, or selling it, it really all depends on the book. Personally, I like having a lot of books because when the fancy strikes, I have a lot of variety to choose from. That being said, I may give a book to a friend if I think it could be life-changing, or donate the book if I feel that I won't read it again.

I keep them of course and try to re-read them every few years, even if I don't like them.

If I really enjoyed the book I will keep it. If I didn't care too much for it I usually give them away to friends or donate them. I do re-read my books a lot, especially if they are a series.

Depends on the book - some books that I don't like much are just a one-time read. Then I like to donate it to the library for their 'used book sales'. Certain others, I like to keep so that I can re-read in the future or lend to friends. Which reminds me that I have a stack of about 10 books in my bedroom which I've already read and need to make room for them on my bookshelf.

Now I need to find some new books to read. Greg

I normally keep the books I've read and re-read them later, if I don't like it I will sometimes trade with a friend if they want the book for a book I like that I don't have that they don't like or I will give it to a family member that I know will like it.
