Very informative review! I love the fact that a child with Down's syndrome is portrayed in this book. Many more children will be able to see themselves on its pages!

I enjoyed this book so much. I love the mantra of Donny: Today is the best day of my life. His joyful and optimistic character was admirable. On the other hand, I love how Mary Grace was so loving and responsible to her Down syndrome brother, Donny. The Grandma Gang mystery was the plot that is exciting too. There are plenty of moral lessons to learn from this book such as respect, kindness, acceptance, friendship, and forgiveness. I love how the school properly settled the bullying case of Jason and Mary Grace. It was an enjoyable read for me. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Donny and Mary Grace discover that they have to go and live with their grandparents in California for two years, as their parents have decided that they were going to do missionary work. Donny has Downs syndrome and Mary Grace is concerned about how strangers will treat him. They experience interesting adventures with the Granny's club in California

"Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventure" by Catherine A. Pepe tells the story of ten-year-old Mary Grace Miller and her family. Although they occasionally visited the Zoo, that will change when little Mary's parents begin their missionary work in Kenya.

Donny and Mary Grace's California Adventure" by Catherine A. Pepe sounds like a book that will interest children a lot. It's equally educative because it talks about down syndrome.
