The inclusion of a child with a mental disability is refreshing, and I'm sure it will help children better understand neurodiversity.
Great review.

The title made me remember Donny and Marie Osmond. The author must be a fan of the duo.

I like the unique characters. The book is free, so I can enjoy it myself. I am curious about the Grandma Gang and how Mary Grace became a member.

The simple, direct narrative of this book offers an "good read" for young readers. The events and actions provide an engaging story of resilience and resourcefulness in dealing with difficult or sudden changes.
A wonderful children's book.

It's encouraging to hear how effectively the book illustrates the benefits of instilling good morals in kids and pointing them in the correct direction through Jason's character. I appreciate you suggesting this book to kids who like mysteries and are at least eight years old. My interest in reading it has definitely been peaked by your review.

This book should be in elementary school libraries across the country. It's so important to include children with disabilities in books, especially when they are represented with the dignity and humanity that this author does. Great review!

I appreciated the author's note before the story; it gave a glimpse of the author's emotions behind writing this book. The sample pages held my attention, as I was eager to know if Donny was safe. I admire the author's writing style and how she has given a lot of character to Donny and Mary Grace. Congratulations on being selected BOTD!

Looks like an amazing read even for grown ups. Some of us can really use all the advice on how to handle bullies. Congratulations to the reviewer.

This book opens your Childs eyes up to the different challenges in life and shows how not everyone is the same and how to treat each person accordingly.

It's beautiful to see the kind of family the children grew up with. Seeing their parents reverence for God above all else is inspiring. Mary and Donny adventures would definitely transform them in beautiful ways. This review is appetite triggering!

The book explores the issue of how parents' negative behaviors can have a detrimental impact on their children. After the loss of his grandmother, Jason was undoubtedly feeling a great deal of pain. Unfortunately, his father, who was not considerate of how his actions affected others, only exacerbated Jason's emotional turmoil. Great review
