If I end up with the guy I am with now then we'll probably have a daughter named Alice since that is his favorite book of all time.

No. It would have to be a very special name. I do see a lot of people doing it though.

Haven't given this topic much thought, but something unique and nothing too out of place will do nicely.

I actually really liked the name d'Artagnan from The Three Musketeers but I would never name my son that. Ever since the series Game of Thrones has started on HBO there has been a surge of little girls named Arya! I'm sure there are a few little girls names Cersei and Sansa out there as well!
All I need is a new book and a place to read it...

No, I haven't, but I've heard of people naming their children Katniss (from the Hunger Games).

Neither one of my kids was named after a character in a book. I was accused of naming my son Dalton after Patrick Swayze's character in the movie "Roadhouse". That was not my intention.

Well, not a book, but I have a classmate whose father named her Zelda after the video game.

My best friend was almost named Galadriel but according to her, her father thankfully intervened.

No, I don't have children. When I do, however, I might consider naming them after book characters.

No, it has never occurred to me to name my children after any characters. My husband though chose Aubrey because of Audrey Hepburn.

My ex husband named his Daughter after a character In the Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan. I have named pets after characters, but do not think I would name my child after a character.

All my favorite characters have very fantasy names- Fiyero, Rand etc. Although I may give my child a weird name- just to teach them that the world isn't fair, right from the get go.
