Forbidden romance? This book sounds like it may be my cup of tea. Sometimes, family traditions have to be set aside for any real change to occur, which seems to be the case for Rory and Amir's relationship. Thanks for the review!

I really am not into the romance genre but this story does sound quite interesting. I'd like to see how Rory gets around the cultural obstacles that she faces in trying to get together with Amir. I'm not sure whether I'll read this one or not but the plot is intriguing. Excellent review.

Sadly, this is a common case nowadays. In my society many students become doctors under the pressure of their parents.

I love reading romance and this book sounds like one. However, I feel for Rory. I pity her for having stern parents and taking up a career that is not her choice. Her life sounds sad. Nice review.

Great review! I appreciate the detailed introduction to the book's protagonist, Rory, and how her rich Jewish culture and family dynamics shape her journey. It's intriguing to see how she navigates the pressures of her upbringing and her forbidden romance with Amir.

Very thoughtful review - covers a lot of aspects of the book. This book has it all: flashbacks of family drama and previous boyfriends, religious differences plus medical residencies and adult relations. Congratulations to the author.

There's a thrill in romance books about lovers that have obstacles challenging their love. The expectation of a happily-ever-after keeps the reader going. I hope Amir and Rory end up together. Great review.

I think love should supersede everything including culture. What would Rory's decision be? I think I'm captivated by the storyline. Congrats to L. B. Wells on being the #BOTD!

'The plot intertwines a prohibited medical romance with religion, culture, and family loyalty' This statement makes this book sound like something that has a lot to teach. I'll like to read about the medical and cultural aspects of 'White Coat.' Interesting review.
