It's an amazing sea-life story about orcas. The pictures are also bright and appealing. I sampled the book, and I fell in love with the smooth and documentary-like narration. Thanks to the author for the free copy, and I will definitely finish the entire book.

This book was so wholesome and refreshing to know about the orca’s. But it was distressing to know the tragic happening to them and the line in the book about a mother orca grieving the death of child was really heartbreaking .

"Orcas Forever" by Marie-Paule Mahoney is a book about a pod of orcas in the Salish Sea. The book is rich in illustrations, which makes it aesthetically pleasing to read. I like how believably the author managed to describe the behavioral demeanor of the orcas.

After reading this review I had more curious to read the whole book. I read it. It was really amazing. I felt as if I saw one animated movie. It is really interesting knowing about Orcas. And hats off to the scientists who is observing this orcas and their behaviours. Facts about Orcas like forming three pods and communicate by echolocation was mesmerising. But the sad news is they are in the list of endangered species. I agree with your review human actions of polluting of oceans and ecosystem will not only deplete the cycle of organisms living on the ocean but also it affects us by rising the level ocean and causing dramatic climate change.
This news spread by this book is appreciable.
Thanks for this review

I am interested to learn how Orcas operate and run their matrimonial society, as well as how they process their grief. As we protect our environment, we should not forget these sea creatures, like endangered orcas. Children will have a chance to learn about these sea creatures. The pictures were stunning and will make the book appealing to young readers. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Even if this is a children’s book, I feel that this will benefit adults too especially those who are unaware about the dangers humans pose to orcas and other animals. The children and adults will learn how much peril they are in, in terms or their survival.

Follow the lives of three orca pods living in the Salish Sea in this nonfiction conservation book. The illustrations are magnificent and add great detail to the text.

Thank you for a great review! This book is well illustrated and the story teaches valuable lessons. That's a recipe for a captivating book for young children as well as older ones. We need to preserve our sea and land creatures and take care of the earth. Congratulations to Marie on BOTD!

I just downloaded this book, and after reading your review I can’t wait to read it to my daughter and show her the pictures! We live by the ocean and I am hoping to instill a love for sea creatures and a passion to care for them in our environment.

One of my fondest memories from childhood is about orca whales. I'm not sure it is known nowadays, since it was oldies in my time already, but several parts of "Save Willy" movies watched together with cozins was great time. I would have loved to read this book back then, but now I must restrict myself to just mark it as an awesome gift idea. Congrats on BOTD!

The review is good-short and brief- and the details are so slightly intrusive, just enough vivid description to create an itch to a potential reader that can only be scratched by reading the book.I am especially keen to look at these pictures the reviewer spoke highly of and maybe to learn more about the mannerisms of these magnifiscent beasts(Orcas).
