I can say that this is a children's book that adults have the privilege to enjoy reading. I have never been interested in marine life, especially dolphins but the mention of their matriarchal system of life and even their grieving process is quite impressive. I am going to get a copy and read it with my son.

Orcas Forever is a beautifully illustrated children's book that tells the story of the Southern Resident Orcas of the Salish Sea. The book is full of fascinating facts about orcas, their social structure, and their diet. It also explores the threats that orcas face from human activity, such as pollution and overfishing.

The book is written in a clear and engaging style that is perfect for young readers. The illustrations are stunning and help to bring the story to life. Orcas Forever is a valuable resource for anyone who wants to learn more about these amazing creatures.

This book sounds like an excellent way to deliver the world of orcas to young children! It definitely sounds like something I would read to a younger sibling or a child if i were to have one in the future

The illustrations and the information provided in the sample pages were astounding. The author has done an excellent job with the knowledge shared about Orcas and their habitats. It will serve as an excellent reference material for young children interested in Orcas. Congratulations on being selected BOTD!

This seems like an educational children's book that highlights the dramatized story of a true-life event exploring a journey into the world of endangered orcas. However, the book doesn't seem to interest me. Nice review though. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

I like the part about how it might be suitable for all ages, especially with such an important message. Dolphins, being almost as intelligent as humans, need to be preserved at all costs. This sounds like an interesting read. Well done on the review.

“Orcas Forever” by Marie-Paule Mahoney is a short story about a pod of orcas that live in the Salish Sea. The pod of orcas travels together to hunt for their daily meal led by their two matriarchs, Sequim and Lea. After they find their daily meal, they link up with two other pods of orcas and they begin their traditional greeting ceremony. Male orcas are not involved in the bringing up the pups. Orcas are very intelligent like dolphins and this book includes many facts about orcas that most people do not know. Sadly, humans are endangering the future of these wonderful creatures. Orcas belong free in the ocean and should not be show mammals in a water show. The pollution of the oceans by mankind is having a terrible effect on the eco system and the mammals that live there. Very good review.

I love it when I see books that discuss animal life forms and their behavior in their ecosystem, and Orcas Forever by Marie-Paule Mahoney is one of those books.

I am interested to learn how Orcas operate and run their matrimonial society, as well as how they process their grief. As we protect our environment, we should not forget these sea creatures, like endangered orcas. Children will have a chance to learn about these sea creatures. Congrats on BOTD.
