Not paid for the review :(

I recently reviewed a book, and my book review was published. However, I was not paid. Why?
Also, where can I find my payment settings?

Hi, me too, I am having such difficulties in understanding how is the payment system works. Its been over 7 days and there is still no payment. Also what does it mean I have 16 entries?? does that mean I am eligible for payment for those entries or is just a system count?? I am so lost, yet I keep entering BOD daily, as I love reading books and love to review as well.. But just stuck for now. I need clarification.

If this is your first review, you will not get paid as it is a test to see if you will be a good reviewer and follow the guidelines. After that, depending on your level, you will receive your payment pending any PRQ disputes. If you are on the lower levels, you can expect to wait up until three weeks for your payment. Be patient, you will receive your payment. They are experiencing a backlog right now, as they are revamping the system. You do not get paid for any entries that you do other than the daily BOTD entry but only when you have accumulated upwards of 700 consecutive entries.

Hi Rachel, as Shirley already mentioned, payments take up to 3 weeks. If you had not set your payment details, you can go to the preferences tab and fill in your payment information. I hope it helps.

You can go to the history tab on the review team page and discover why the delay is happening. If there was a special additional requirement for the book, like posting an Amazon review you need to do that after your OBC review is published, and when it is verified you will be paid.

Hello, My review was published but I was asked to submit my review to Amazon so as to get paid. But the problem is that I can't submit my review to Amazon because I have not purchased any goods worth of $50. Presently, I do not have money to purchase anything so as to post my review. Please, how can I submit my review without having to purchase something worth of $50 so that online book club can pay me my $10 dollars. Thanks

Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, if leaving an Amazon review was a special requirement at the time you selected the book, and if you failed to do so, then most likely your review will be rejected and you will not get paid for that review. I am sorry for any disappointment this may cause.
