Are there any errors in the sentence below?

Tina, her husband Peter, their two teenaged sons, and two of their friends experience times of learning as they experience the sea and its creatures, boredom as they wait for favorable sailing conditions, danger as they face treacherous weather and personal growth as they work to appreciate each other’s strengths while having to work and live together in close quarters, all while on their voyage.
