Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard

Post by rherbert30 »

I've seen a lot of posts about Fifty Shades and the Crossfire series, but I'm curious to know if people have read Gabriel's Inferno and what you all think of these books. I personally really enjoyed them because it can be hard to find romance or erotica that have a well written and thought out plot.

Let me know what you all think and if you have any other books like this to recommend!

I enjoyed these books. I have read a lot of books since those so I only remember the basics of the story. I do remember that when I finished the first one, I could not wait to read the next.

I've read both, and think that Fifty Shades is a tad lighter than Gabriel's Inferno. I thoroughly enjoyed both books, though.

Gabriel's Redemption is out now. It looks like it is going to be a good read.

I red so quickly but I were a bit disapointed because there are not action until de end.

The book it's so long... And some parts were very boring or repetitive.

I've read the first two books in these series and I just recently got a copy of the third book. I kinda don't want to read it yet. I don't want to end Julia and Gabriel's journey.

This was one of my favorite book series. Like many other Readers I have read a lot of books since I read this series, but this series still stands out in my memory. I feel that before anybody reads a Fifty shades book they must first read Gabriel's Inferno.

I just couldn't get into it. I tired, but I found it slow. Does it have a large story arc that I need all this detailed information?

I just finished Gabriel's Inferno a few days ago. Not sure how I missed it previously...I really liked it. I was surprised their secrets weren't more dramatic and intense, however, I realized people are affected differently by events. I have read the 50 Shades trilogy multiple times and still love them. More than the intense sex scenes, I am drawn to the emotional roller coaster and the changes they both go through together (Christian and Ana). And I've read the Crossfire series as well. I can't say that I love one series more than the other...I havent finished Gabriel yet but am looking forward to it.

I read the series. It was a ok series. It was too slow paced for me but it had a lot of hot moments. You should give it a try.

I appreciate the obvious research that went into the book. But I just couldn't connect with characters. So I will not be reading the second book if there is one.

I loved Gabriel's Inferno. The second and third books were not as good though.
