If it's hot, coffee. If it's cold, tea. No sugar, sweetener or cream of any kind. Just give them both to me straight up.

How about coffee and tea? I love a super sweet cup of coffee. Lots of sugar and hazelnut creamer. However, when the time is right, I love to snuggle up in the corner of my bed with a mug of chai tea. Mm, I love it!

This thread always makes me smile - we can't do without our caffeine/tannin addictions!

I'm fairly regimented (by work) so I have a teapot of real leaves in the morning, a coffee with soy milk and sugar for lunch and usually a green tea bag in mid-afternoon. I shudder when characters in a book guzzle down black coffee for hours on end.

I enjoy both coffee and tea. When I drink coffee I prefer Dunkin Donuts. I am from the Boston area and it is very true that the northeast runs on Dunkin's. To me Starbucks is too strong and it is a decorated coffee. Dunkin's is real coffee, the bitter taste without the fluff. Starbucks, however, does know its tea. I will only get tea from there because I enjoy the Tazo's brand flavors. I drink coffee when I need to wake up and I drink tea when I want to relax.

I do not drink coffee or tea, never have. That being said... I have to have pop. A can of Coke is my go to.

Both it just depends on my mood at the time I am writing. I must say tea does have a more calming effect for me. Usually I will also have a favorite candy like DOTS or cookies.

Both! Coffee in the am to get started and awake and tea in the evening after dinner. I was a tea drinker until after my third child was born. I began to drink coffee because my son did not sleep through the night for the first five years of his life and the lack of sleep was debilitating to me. Coffee helped me to think clearly, gave me patience and helped with the short term memory problems that prolonged lack of sleep can cause. Many years later, I am able to get an uninterrupted nights sleep and my New Year's goal is to give up the coffee and just keep a nice cup of tea for the afternoons with cream and sugar like the Irish drink it.

Having my morning coffee is a must, especially if I'm the only one up,I turn the t.v. on for noise, grab a cup of coffee and a book and I'm good to go. The occasional cup of Earl Grey doesn't hurt either(try it as iced tea)

As a mom of 4 I must have coffee first thing in the AM! I usually put it in my like 20 oz Tervis Tumbler to drop the kids all off to school! I will drink it black if flavored coffee - I like a lot of the dunkin donuts seasonal ones or I will do a light creamer ....currently into a caramel one. I like to take black coffee and sprinkle pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top of the grounds and then brew ;) After my AM coffee I am more of a tea person ....I drink all kinds .... green is my standard but like flavored ones as well ....usually end the day with some sleepytime

Tea, all the way. I usually only drink coffee if i am going to be working late (i'm a third shift server) and i didn't get much sleep the night before. I'm American, and tea wasn't really prevalent in my house growing up. I'm only just now figuring out which kinds i like. I'm quite fond of chai, chamomile, and earl grey.

I have my desk set up right in the living room. To my back is a sort of bar that's raised giving me privacy so people can't peer over my shoulder while I work. I can also say hi to my boyfriend when he walks downstairs in the morning. Right behind me is the kitchen as well so easy coffee access.

I usually just brew one cup in the morning in my special designated Wolverine mug and drink that. From time to time I may brew a second cup later into the afternoon, but that's very rare. Throughout the day I"ll usually end up drinking tea or water depending on my mood. I have a stash of tea in an old coffee can and two more boxes in case I ever run out of coffee.

Coffee leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and tea is something I don't enjoy drinking. However, when I find myself writing really late at night after a long day, I sometimes prepare a cup of warm milk with some coffee. The bitterness keeps me up while the milk warms me up.
