Reading can take you to the past, the future, to places you've never been and places that don't exist anywhere else. Books allow the human imagination to stretch infinitely, to reach it's fullest potential.

I read because I get new information about things. I do not care whether it is fiction or not. Books give me a look into the mind of its author. It like I leave Earth and step into a new world every time I pick up a book.

Why do I like reading? I like reading because it fuels my imagination and take me to worlds far away without leaving the comfort of my home. It takes your back to the past or the future, anywhere you want to be.

I believe it's an exercise for the brain. It keeps the brain refreshed. Apart from that, I like to read about different perspectives of other people.

Reading makes me happy at times. It is the best way to gain some knowledge and I can learn from the author. It is also entertaining to read, based on the genre of the book such as an action-based book.

I didn't even realize I loved reading until I was at a point where I started looking for libraries in every city I went. People also started complaining how I would always be immersed in a book which is so recent. So this may sound odd but I'm not sure why I love it but I definitely feel relieved while reading a book.

I love the experience of being in a different location with new characters and some who are old friends. Reading can challenge me to see the world from a new perspective and experience life through another’s eyes. I am constantly reading something whether a book or a news article.

I read any genres that I come across I don't have a preferential treatment to some kind of books I read because I strive to be versatile

There are several reasons why I love reading. It gives me a lot of benefits. Reading provides me with an enjoyable experience of looking into windows of different worlds and dimensions. It is one of the best ways to find answers to issues, philosophical musings, and questions. Reading helps me to learn something new, inspires me to think, and makes me get a wider understanding. It also makes me view life from a different perspective. "Knowledge is power" is indeed true if I keep on reading. I experience many lives through stories told in different, various books.

I find it relaxing and is an escape to some other place where I sort of get to know new characters and their lives.
