Hm... My Mom's homemade Chicken noodle soup, and potato soup. Butternut squash soup (if it's made right) and that's about it.

I like most soups (at least the ones made in my country) but the specific soup I have in mind is a soup I ate at a friends house so I dont know the name. But it was creamy and had meat in it. It was awesome!

Pepper steak soup with a dollop of cold sour cream and garlic/dill/herbed rolls (and real butter) :)

just put a pot of black bean soup on the stove...i have all the ingredients except the Sherry, boo hoo...

my fave recipe is from Craig Claibourne, cause i love the ch. green peppers and tomatoes....

i prefer " Goat's milk Yogurt " for the dollop...........healthier, and far more flavorful...

guacamole and tortillas de harina ( the white ones ) go perfectly....

which do you prefer?....Red? ( Manhattan ) or White? New England...

I loveeee homemade soups.
Being Portuguese, my fave all-time soup is Calde Verde which is a potato/kale soup with Portuguese spicy sausage pieces in it.
