I just got a great dane puppy and have named him Winston. No special reason. Just thought it was distinguished and he looks like a Winston.

That's a great name for so many breeds, I'm sure he'll grow into his name, you're gonna have a big boy there!!!

My Bichon Frise (unfortunately i just had to put him down a few weeks ago... 15 years old *tear*) was named Flaki. He was a white fluffy dog and everyone around me had similar type dogs, white poodles etc and they all had names like Snowball, Snowflake, and so i just came up with Flaki because i thought it was different. (I was 11 at the time).

My Boxer is named Pandora, or Panda for short. My brother named her. Not sure where it came from or what he chose it. But it just suits her somehow!

My little Chihuahua-Yorkie's name is Trixie-Belle. Her name was Trixi before we got her and it fit her well, but I wanted to add Belle because it's girly and pretty. She's pretty but not girly! My other dog is red, and a dachshund terrier mix. His name was Cameron but when we got him, we wanted another name. My boyfriend was with us and suggested Baxter. It fits him perfectly.

Right now my Chihuahua's name is unprintable. I gave her a bath a couple days ago, and this morning she got into the ashes where I burn my garbage. Instead of white, she's kind of a blotchy grey.

Shmeckle!

He is a beautiful purple beta fish.

Or rather, the ghost of one. He was my last pet, currently deceased.

My last cat was Giant Gray. He was tiny, but had huge paws when he was a kitten. As it turned out, he lived up to his name. Never fat, just huge. (He could reach things on the kitchen counter)
I miss him every day. (and his adoptive sister, Samantha)

The Dude is a great dane mix we rescued from the shelter. Giving a shout out to the Big Lebowski, we taught the Dude to "abide" instead of "stay". Not like that was a challenge, the couch is the Dude's best friend!

My family and I had a couple of beta fish over the years. We always named them WIlly (I don't now why but we did) and the last one we had was the fourth. I always thought they were pretty fish and easy to care for.
