The last book I finished was Delilah Green doesn’t care, a sapphic rom-com. I really liked the book, especially because it was so nice to finally read an adult rom-com where the main characters are out of college and have finished their coming-of-age-process (I mean, I like young adult books, but still, it’s nice to seem some more mature characters). It was funny&spicy and who doesn’t love a good enemies-to-lover and grumpyxsunshine romcom :)?

The 13th Warning by R.L. Stine - This novella is about a kid named Lucky who gets a warning for his birthday and trying to avoid the bad thing happening. I think it's pretty good for a simple story other than a just okay ending. It was nice that Lucky had a supportive sister, Lindy, since a lot of these kind of books use the sibling enemy trope.

I just read Snached up to Heaven. 4/

I will describe a Christian book. But even though I liked the book, the editor didn't like my review.
It wasn't amazing enough. So, I wonder...

Talking As Fast As I Can by Lauren Graham. 5 Stars. It's hilarious, especially if you you've watched her on Gilmore Girls.

The Waves by Virginia Woolf and three stars out of five. It was more of an experimental piece of writing than To the Lighthouse, which was beautiful and which explored similar themes. The Waves was structured as a novel told by six characters who grow old together and wax poetic on themes of time, aging, perception, and how priorities evolve as people grow old; the universality of the characters' experience was interesting in that respect. I love Virginia Woolf, but I would not start with this book as it would do a disservice to her other, better books written in classic Virginia Woolf style.

The last book I read was Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, and I'd give it a 4/5. Some of the talks that involve philosophy, environmentalism/sustainability, and similar esoteric topics could confuse some people and the book takes a while to inject the message, but I believe the story was one of the most intelligent narratives that I've read within the last ten years and the premise sold me on a gorilla that talks (telepathically, mind!), so the narrative deserves accolades in my opinion.

13 Ghosts: Strange But True Ghost Stories By Will Osborne - 9/10

The entries are quick paced, lasting just a few pages, because it's the facts without embellishment. Sometimes that may mean a ghost encounter can be a bit random like the ghost who just seemed interested in finishing a book. He wasn't that interested in the people around him. I really like that story though because I can imagine dying without finishing a book and that being my unfinished business lol.

I just finished that and rated it 4/5. I really enjoyed it, although I did feel some of the chapters seemed to drag. I was really surprised by the ending -- did you read the sequel? I think I'm going to search for it, that cliffhanger ending got to me lol!

The last book I read was the final book in the Mark of the Lion series titled "As Sure as Dawn" by Francine Rivers. I would rate this book a 10 over 10. It's simply amazing.
