Fave Candy?, then and Now?

Post by suzy1124 »

Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate............love Chunky, Raisinets, Goobers, and Jordan Almonds, Almond Joy and Mounds...
Also those " jellied-fruit " thingys, but not the crap ones of just sugar and water....the best ones i've had were from a friend who brought me a gift from Italy...Soooo authentic, like eating a real fruit...

Bro and i used to love " frozen " Milky Ways..............we'd put them in the freezer...

As a kid I was obsessed with Pixy Stix, the only time I was allowed to have them was Halloween and I would make one straw last for weeks. Oh and those syrup flavored wax bottles...do you remember when there was penny candy??? Actually by my time it was dime candy...but you can't even get a pack of gum under a dollar now.

Oh and those caramel bullseyes and black licorice...both still my favorite. BTW I'm making your Bit O Honey recipe when I get home...NomNomNom

My favorite candy has been and always will be Smarties.
I use to trade all the chocolate in my halloween treat bag for other kids smarties.
Best candy.

I remember walking down to the corner store when I was about ten with a quarter...got a little paper bag and 25 pieces of penny candy. Fireballs, maryjanes, tootsie rolls, swedish fish.

They are colorful little disks of sour/sweetness.
Kind of chalky.
Delicious.

My favorite candy is chocolate and skittles. That has always been my two favorites. I cant pick between the two because that would be like choosing between your two kids. I know, I'm dramatic.

Really missing American candy right now, in the midst of Halloween season. Please send:
Airheads. Nerds. Sweettarts (those giant chewy ones and the original ones). Skittles. Sour Skittles. Fun Dip. Warheads. Starbursts.
