This is so cute and lovely with a good lesson and insight. Such a unique and creative story that teaches children how to process difficult emotions in a gentle and easy to understand way. I love the idea of magic socks. Now I'm wondering, is granma secretly a witch? I'm glad this story got a happy ending. Thank you for a wonderful review. I'm sorry for your kitty.

This is such an important concept to teach children, I never thought about it! Grief is such a touchy and taboo subject that everyone avoids it, and this book does a great job of teaching this important lesson! Thanks for the review I loved it!

I love the idea of socks playing the main role in this story. They can be symbols of many different things to each of our lives. I look forward to reading this to my own child. I think it teaches us not to take advantage of things. Thanks for your review!

I did not understand immediately the meaning of the title. Upon looking intently at the cover illustration, I found it amusing. I also found the one-page-story sample delightful with its illustration, suitable for children and typical of childrens' books. The review gave a sneak preview of what to expect. Thumbs up! I like to tinker, skim childrens' books before turning it over to the little owner. I think we would find this enjoyable.

“Sock Lobsters” sounds like an enchanting children’s story that addresses issues about death and sorrow with sensitivity before ending on a positive note. Accordingly, it addresses feelings like hate and jealousy in an age-appropriate manner for children so that even as adults they recognize themselves in your description. The description of characters and the subtle touches such as the characterization of the grandmother make the story come to life and are easily identifiable. Also, your personal relationship with the theme of watching others suffering increases the emotional content that you feel for the characters’ experiences. In retrospect, it appears like a nicely written and illustrated book that provides assurance and wisdom to various readers.

Thanks for sharing such a nice story. :D
