What is the last book you read, and your rating?

The last book I read was The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. It’s a fascinating mixture of philosophy, psychology, history, self help, and tips to dealing with people and yourself in tough situations. Robert Greene extensively explains his laws in eloquent, straightforward terms that are easy to understand, but sometimes hard to swallow. I highly recommend.

Cynthia and Dan: Cyber war - Dorothy May Mercer 3/5
It was a good book. It had 2 genres- suspense and romance but it lacked romance.

The last book I read was Country Calling by Winsome Board. I rated the book four out of five stars. I can definitely recommend it to fans of character-driven historical fiction books.

The last book I read was A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor (The Carls #2) by Hank Green. It is a sci-fi adventure book and I gave it 5/5 stars!

The last book I read was The Archer by Paulo Coelho. I would rate it 4/5. It's a short book that uses archery as an analogy for life and philosophy.

The Darkness by Ragnar Jónasson, I rate it 4/5. I enjoyed this reading, although the ending was surprising and I can't tell if it has a meaning in the next book (it is a trilogy) or just the author didn't know how to end it...

3 Sisters 3 Weeks 3 Countries ( Still Talking) by Elizabeth Moore Kraus. It was more than an enjoyable read. It's been a long time since I liked a book enough to want to reread it, and that's what happened here. I liked the narration method and the atmosphere of the story, so my rating for it was 5/5.

The Prodigy Slave, Book One: Journey to Winter Garden by Londyn Skye. I rated it 4/4. I loved the book and the reading challenge it presented for me, since it takes place in 1859, the writing used attempts to get closer to the period. It was very different for me, as I am a non-native english speaker.

More Tales To Give You Goosebumps by R.L. Stine - 9/10

Although two of the ten are kind of weak, the other eight are pretty good and creative. In one story the guy misses the lake or maybe it was the beach. Then he realizes he can take a swim in his fish tank by becoming small. Of course, this means his own fish are now dangerous. Another story involves aliens. I think the variety makes this collection stand out. If you like to read short stories or read them for inspiration for your own short story writing, this is definitely worthwhile.

I read the Storyteller's Return by Opal Palmer Adisa. The author is Jamaican and the book is a collection of poems that explore the emotional and psychological aspects of returning home after being away for a long time. The poems are very emotional and thought-provoking and I wanted to give it a high rating, but the formatting of the book was poorly done so I gave it 3/5 stars.

Niching Up - 4/5

It was a best book for developing our professional career. Since I am a professional student, I can understand the importance of niche.

The last book that I read was Handmaidens of Rock and I give it a 5 star rating. It brought me back to a time in the sixties and early 70's when things were so different. Yeah, we had all the war protests and the Vietnam War, but times seemed so simplier then.
