we have a lot in common she and i.............both from the Bronx, same religion, same background, even the same Dramatic school in Manhattan,....never saw her there tho, she graduated many years before me...........

i'm always told i look like her, ( especially in my previous Avatar w/lighter hair )...no wonder Jason Robards tried to pick me up at P.J.'S...and the BUM was still married to her at the time.........

I told him to go home to Lauren............

i love her line: " " If you want me just whistle, you know how to whistle don't you ? " in that sexy / throaty voice of hers...

Jason Robards made some moves on you? Wow, thats something.

Lauren Bacall was sexy, thats for sure. Did you ever see her in The Fan? She wasnt no spring chicken, but she still looked pretty good.

Another hottie from that era was Lana Turner. I had extremely nasty thoughts about her.

My number one favorite actress is Bette Davis. My favorite actor is Anthony Hopkins. Has anyone here seen All About Eve or my sir's Otello? I daresay Bette Davis really shows her appeal in the former, and I've never seen a better Otello than Hopkins. Of course, I love The Silence of the Lambs, though I'm glad I've only ever seen it on T.V. Loved Red Dragon, too, with Ralph Fiennes, another GREAT actor! Voldemort's my man!!! Oh...

One of my favorite movies ever is a gem of a thriller called Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? It stars Davis and Joan Crawford, on whom I wasn't too keen even before I saw Fay Dunaway's legendary portrayal of her. I think Bette did some great work as Baby Jane. In fact, I think she did some of her best acting in her later years, though such titles as Mr. Skeffington, Jezebel, and Now, Voyager! cannot be excluded as a part of her legend. Anyway, had to share.

You love Judi Dench, Suzy? She's one of the best ever! Did you see her in Pride and Prejudice and Chocolat? Oh, and her Oscar- winning role of Elizabeth I in Shakespeare in Love was great, too. I, personally, think she's a very beautiful lady. I was sad to learn she is almost completely blind now. One can't tell, though, when one sees her act.
Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things that escape those who only dream at night.
