these days my attention span has been really short for anything that does not include written words so a movie is better than a whole series. although there are quite a few newly released series that I have been looking forward to watching but they just don't hold my attention for long

My preference depends on the genre of the movie. For example, I love watching a one sitting horror movie and a series movie for comedy.

I prefer a movie so I can finish the story and not end up in a cliff hanger moment, waiting for the next season which most of the times can end up being really disappointing.

I definitely love & prefer a good series especially when I can just binge on it. I enjoyed Euphoria on Max. That's one show I couldn't get enough of. Issa Rae's Insecure is another really good series I loved.

Personally, I prefer TV series to movies.
Tv series give characters space and time for development. You can see how an actor gets more involved and better at playing a character .The stories do not need to be compressed since it spans over episodes, and those little details can be told to it's full.

As a viewer, my preference varies based on mood. Sometimes, I enjoy the immersive experience of a series, delving deeper into characters and plotlines. Other times, a one-sitting movie provides a concise and impactful storytelling experience.

It depends on how much time I have; if I have a busy schedule, I prefer a one-sit movie. But if I am more leisurely, I prefer series. The waiting is thrilling.

There are different stages in life. I would say movies were better a few years ago. With the film industry's decline and streaming's popularization, I prefer series nowadays.

I prefer series as of right now. Of course that is subject to change based on my mood but I enjoy when stories can be flushed out into a show, instead of trying to get all the information from a one-sitting movie. For example, I can only imagine Bridgerton being a show, I don't think we'd enjoy it nearly as much if it were a movie and I think that's simply based on how much we get to delve into the story over numerous episodes.
