When there is a lot of noise I can get distracted. Especially with classics

Sometimes I'll be reading and just drift away from the page and become pensive without even realising and then have to read it all again.

If I really enjoy what I'm reading, very few things can break my concentration! If I don't really enjoy it, every little sound will disrupt my reading.

Very. Constantly popping out to get a cup of tea or faff about with something. It's a wonder I ever finish anything.

Unfortunately, I do. Luckily, not always. I think I get distracted by the fact that I'm reading on the computer and another activity (like checking my e-mail) is only a mouse click away. That said, I can usually read for an hour and a half without breaking away so it's not too bad, right?

Nothing can distract me - I have a super imagination and as soon as I envision the location or a character or a situation in a book .. that's it .. and kick up the suspense.. Then nothing can bring me back to reality except the end of that book... So literally I am visiting another realm /adventure in a book for about 2 hours at a time - *Amount of time it takes me to read a good novel from end to end.

I can read anywhere - Anytime. It takes a lot to tear me away from a fantastic book (usually the only kinds worth reading -right) ..and if I should happen to buy a trilogy or a set - Well you may not see me for days or weeks at a time ..

The only thing I think that beats a great book.. Is travelling, especially to exotic locations, but really any journey to a remote destination invokes in me a sense of adventure and gets the adrenalin going - Much like a fantastic novel .

Then there is 'The Reading Of a Fantastic Novel in an Idealic Location ' But that my friends is the topic for another discussion :)

Depends on the book. If it's kinda boring then I can read pages and not remember a single word. That's a good sign for me that I should toss it away :D

Well if I'm really into a book I can normally tune out a lot. If there is something more entertaining going on around me then yea I can get distracted.

It depends. Sometimes I can barely focus on my book. At other times, I get completely into the book and barely notice what's going on around me.

I never used to get distracted while reading, but it tends to be an issue as of lately. Especially if there is music playing or a television on. Often times I'll realize I'm reading but not actually processing the words, which is most frustrating.

Pretty much, no. Unless you have a drum up against my ear, I can read through anything. Although I can still read, loud/frequent sounds can affect my speed. While in total silence, I can read much faster than when in a noisy situation, but, yeah. That's pretty much it. Thanks for reading :D .

I am the same way, people have to call my name a few times before I "snap" out of it.
