Aww Cara, so sweet of you to check out Morbidly. Btw, I did let her know of a few typos I spotted but there weren't many! She is an amazing writer! I have never been a reader of romance either, but I do enjoy a good romantic comedy movie--Nora Ephron(RIPCara Wilding wrote: ↑15 Jan 2024, 15:43 Terry, I wouldn't know how to critique a family member, either! What a fantastic deal! How impressive and exciting! I just looked at it on Amazon and even sampled the first few chapters. It has tons of great reviews, and I can see why. I loved what I saw; it was genuinely funny and easy to read. I've added it to my TBR list, and I'm not even a romance reader! Thanks so much for sharing that with me; I can't wait to read it! Until next time...

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my review and leave me with some thoughtful comments! I'm happy to know my review will help you decide on this book. I would say that very few books are "perfect," so you just have to decide what your version of good enough or great isJudyMwangi wrote: ↑18 Jan 2024, 04:10 I appreciate your thoughtful review of "The Heritage of Evil." I found your thoughts on Darklyn Cove's character development and the confluence of narratives to be rather interesting. Although I like the realistic touch that pop culture references to provide, I'm taking your criticism about the tempo and abrupt endings into consideration. Your in-depth analysis offers a fair assessment, which helps me determine how interested I am in the book. My curiosity has been piqued by your review, even with the mentioned shortcomings.

Bettny, I didn't think of how this might be portrayed in a movie, but you're right - it might make for good cinema! Books don't have the luxury of "showing" all the details; much of the time, it must be "told," so the result is a slower pacing during these portions. I hope you have the opportunity to read this soon as well! Until next time...Bettny Andrade wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024, 09:46 Everything in this read screams suspense and action! In my head it would be a great movie! If you avoid giving very long moments and losses in the plot, of course. hahaha I hope to have the opportunity to read it soon.

Sakshi, thank you so much for your kind comments and for taking the time to read my review! I couldn't agree with you more—this work would only take minor adjustments for it to prevail, as you mentioned! Until next time...Sakshi Bhageria wrote: ↑30 Jan 2024, 04:08 I really appreciate the detailed review, and your take on the writing. It is always regrettable when we see unutilised potential in a piece of writing, and a joy when the author comes back stronger than before.
Hope that it prevails here as well.
Cheers!
