Do you remember Peter Ustinov? Not a comedian as such but hilariously funny

I do remember Peter Ustinov. "I'm a Gnu, how about you?" and Topkapi(a jewel heist, I think). Very witty man.

I love Weird Al and George Carlin. Nick Offerman and Bo Burnham are some favorites as well.

Anyone remember Bob and Ray? They had a dry, really different off-beat humor.

What did I say about your President?
I think he's a handsome man & Michelle is a very beautiful & dignified lady. I, in common with many around the world, was very happy to see the US elect a black president and I will be equally happy when a woman is elected (as long as it's not that silly twit with the glasses!!!!!!!!)

well we agree on something re wanting a woman prez! as long as it's not HELLary, for obvious reasons....

btw, our next prez who just happens to be black ( Dr. Benjamin Carson ) is one whom i'm doggedly working for...

a man of INTELLIGENCE and distinction, and NOT in politics..also doesn't need a Teleprompter to give a speech...( when you speak from the " heart ", words just flow naturally...

Love our discussions Fran!...hope you enjoy them as much as i do...

Forgot to say that ex- Sat. night Live cast member Dennis Miller is my 2nd best comedian...his " verbal calisthenics " w/Oreilly are priceless!...sheer brilliance!...

I thought you were committed to the "democratic process" - isn't there the small matter of an election/s
Never heard of the good Dr but I googled & he's handsome too but I'd worry about "Speak from the heart" ... lots of hostages to fortune there then. Just wait 'till he gets to courting the "middle ground" voter & the "swing" voters. Easy to "speak from the heart" when you are speaking to the converted.

Well pardon me! - Incredibly shallow and superficial of me I know but the first thing I notice about any man is whether or not he is "easy on the eye".

Ive got one for you. I had an aunt who voted for Eisenhower because he sounded like Clark Gable.

Back to comics. I saw some guy on HBO, I dont remember who he was, but he was a riot. His specialty was potty humor, graphic but funny. At the end he was in his dressing room, and this old lady came in who was supposed to be his mother. She told him she didnt approve of him using all that bad language in his act. He showed her this check and said this is how much money I get for my act. She looked at it and said, Well, I guess a few cuss words never hurt anybody.

I forgot to add: have we mentioned Rowan Atkinson? (Mr Bean, and all the Blackadder generations!)
