Sitting up! I get super nauseous when I lay down to read.

For me sitting up, so much better for my strange posture.

Sitting up. I read at night so laying down has me asleep in minutes. Even if the fight scene is epic.

Sitting up because I fall asleep when laying down. It's hard not too, especially at night. It only takes about ten blinks before I'm out of it when I lay down

I change my position like fifty times. I have had my family come in and ask me what I am doing because I am in such a weird position. I find that I get tired and irritable too so I just constantly switch.

Hmm. Both have their merits, but I prefer sitting up, it's easier to get comfortable without resting on my elbow or holding the book in the air in front of me.

I like to read lying on my stomach in bed. I'm generally pretty hopped up on coffee so I don't get too tired. I also like reading on the couch.

A combination of both.. I read slouched backwards in the position a recliner chair would give while reclined. I like my feet propped up nicely but its not required. I also read while laying on my side. I'm not a fan of reading while sitting in a position a wood chair would give because I like to be comfortable and I like my.book at eye level with me.

I have to read sitting up -- I tend to read for hours -- or I feel faint when I go to stand due to the blood flow.

I used to only read sitting up, but a neck injury was making it very difficult. Thank goodness for my Kindle! Even though I prefer actual books, I can read the Kindle in any position that is comfortable.

I cannot read lying down comfortably, prefer sitting up. I can read and walk on my treadmill if I go under 2mph, so how is that? I love doing that. My two fav things at once!
