I absolutely love reading on my phone. I love having physical books, but I dislike the clutter because I currently don't have a bookshelf since mine just recently broke. I can automatically select the book I want, I can bookmark it and just open the app and it opens on the bookmark. :D

I don't really read on phones. Mainly because I don't have one, but also because they are too small. I prefer an actual book too.

I love being able to download my books on my smartphone, so that way when I find myself stuck somewhere and have a wait, I can pull out my phone and take up reading from where I left off on my Nook! I also will take my phone and read it in bed since it is lighter then my Nook :)

I hated this when i tried it, not enough words to a page - ok I was on a Nokia N8 at the time, and desperate for something to read but still it gave me a horrendous headache at the end.

I would much rather take my tablet with me than try to read on such a small screen.

I just recently started reading on my phone and I've found I actually enjoy it quite a bit for pretty much all the reasons the OP stated. It's a different sort of reading experience, but it fits from time to time.

I have a nook app on my iphone and I use it frequently when I don't have my Nook with me.

I posted about this in another thread, but this one is actually more appropriate.

I recently got a Galaxy S4. The screen is amazing. It's 1080p full HD, 1920x1080 resolution, ~441 pixels per inch (5 inch screen).

The text (well everything on it) is super smooth. No jagged edges, it doesn't even look digital, it looks analog.

The screen itself is smaller than my tablet by 2 inches, but my tablet was pretty terrible overall. The colors are more vibrant on the new phone and it's faster by many orders of magnitude (it has 2 quad-core processors!).

I've basically transferred all of my e-Reading to this phone and I might just give the tablet to my parents.

I can understand how people dislike reading on their phones now. The phone I used to use had a paltry screen size compared to this one (as well as a terrible resolution). But I posit that many of those people simply have not used the right phone.

I hate reading on smart phone. The feel of holding an actual book, turning pages and most importantly the smell of a book is something I like too much.

I tried reading on my smart phone but the text is too small. I'll have to stick to my Kindle or real books.

My phone is definitely my last resort, I would much rather read on my ipad or an actual book. I tend to skim so constantly having to change the page gets old.
