I named my first born daughter, she is now 58, after an Irish book that I had read "Bronwyn", I think the book was "How Green Was My Valley" she hates the name and now calls herself Grace!!!

It is a Welsh book - well, it is not written in Welsh, it is written in English - but is about a mining community in Wales.

Bronwyn is also a very Welsh name.

No...but my daughter was named Alyssa because Alyssa Milano was on the cover of Cosmopolitan the month she was born. True story and my daughter loves hearing it to this day!

For a while I fell in love with the name Jamie for a boy due to a character in a book. Thankfully I have outgrown that.

When my sister was having her first child I kept recommending names based on characters I loved in books. I really wanted her to name her daughter Chiya, but alas, she did not...but I like my niece's name just the same

Funny, I named my kids basic timeless names with options for nicknames...Michael, Daniel, Elizabeth...the fanciful names went to the cats

No, I don't have kids. If I did have kids, I would need to have a million cause I wouldn't be able to pick a name. I like too many of the names. For a girl I really like the names Ashley, Annalyse, and Ashlyn. I also like the names for a boy Ross, Jacob, and Riker. I'm really picky with names though.

I will probably name my children after my favourite fictional character names. My favourite fictional character names are usually really unique and different.

Despite what the character stood for in Wuthering Heights, I've fallen in love with the name Heathcliff. It's so romantic and strong.
