I have a whole list of books at home that are on my 'To read List' and it keeps pilling on. No matter how much I read or how fast, there are always more books to read. The next few I have waiting on the shelf are Siddhartha by hermen hesse, Bring up the Bodies by Hellery Mantel and The glass palace by Amitav Ghosh

I just finished a book last night. I'm going to look in my kindle for a book i have bought, but haven't read yet. I am pretty sure it will be Be With Me by Jennifer Armentrout.

7. Paradise Lost by John Milton
8. Hyperspace by Michio Kaku
9. The Kingdom of God is Within You by Leo Tolstoy
10. The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand

I'm not that strict in following these though. I have a list up on goodreads, mostly as a reference not to forget to read most of the books.
I just finished 2001 and am just about finished with 2010. I have seen both films many times but have never read the books until now. I am really glad I have read those two books now because I now understand a lot more of the story, especially the latter part of 2001. There has been criticism that Clarke explained too much thus eliminating mystery, however I must disagree.. there is plenty of mystery left in the story of stargates and unseen god-like beings.

Maybe one day I will venture on to the other books in the series but for now I think Im going to be happy to end it at 2010.. especially with the overwhelmingly bad reviews the later books got.

I really like war history.. especially 20th century war history whether it be non-fiction or fiction based on a real experience.. and especially the Vietnam war. My next book will be To The Limit. Its a memoir written by Tom A. Johnson who was a Huey pilot in the 1st Air Calvary. He recounts his unforgettable experience in Vietnam during which he piloted several dangerous missions some of which he barely escaped.

New life, no instructions. Actually, I've started reading it but it's not really grabbing my attention.

There are so many books that I have on my to-read list. When I finish a book and have to choose another one of my list I really struggle. It's hard to choose a book when so many of them sound so interesting and when there are over 800 to choose from. A few that I am extremely excited to read are:

Henry and the Incredibly Incorrigible, Inconveniently Intelligent Smart Human
by L.A. Messina

Dirty Old Man
by Moll French

The Village of Waiting
by George Packer

Tall, Dark and Dead by Tate Hallaway, Patricia Cornwell's Body of Evidence, and Among Thieves by David Hosp. Of course my to-read list is longer and I don't follow my list too closely, but these three are the ones I plan to read next.

Right now I'm in the middle of the Infernal Devices Series and the Mortal Instruments series, so finishing them up is the next thing on my list. After that, probably the Divergent trilogy as every I know is going crazy over it, I am very curious as to whether it will live up to its hype.

My husband and I are reading the list of 100 books you should read before you die. It is a great list. We just read The Five People You Meet in Heaven. It was a great read and I can't wait until we make the final decision on the next book we read!
