Post by marseet1 »

I've read all of this series and really enjoy it. It's an escape to another world where no matter how bad it gets it alwAys works out.

Has anyone read the series?

I'm a big fan too but I can't decide which book in the series is my favorite. I like how she uses the common myth that we all grew up with of Pandora's box and created a backstory of what happened to all of the evil spirits that were trapped within it.

I love the Lords of the Underworld series. In fact, I think I've read every book Gena Showalter has written. Lords of the Underworld has a new, exquisite take on angels and demons, heaven and hell, and I love getting wrapped up in her stories and the personal battles her characters face. My secret fantasy is that Showalter will combine a few books with Kresley Cole's series, Immortals After Dark, and do a quick merging of worlds, even if it's just for one story. It probably won't happen but it doesn't hurt to dream! :)

I have read all of The Lords of the Underworld books that are currently out and they are really good! I hope she writes William's story.

I have really enjoyed the Lords of the Underworld series. They have all the action and adventure appeal of a young adult series but have enough adult themes to keep me coming back for more! Essentially, the plot is about twelve immortal warriors who stole Pandora's box and opened it. Since they released evil into the world, they each carry an evil trait in themselves. The series is about how they find love and fulfillment in spite of their curse.

I hope that she writes William's story soon. I absolutely love him.
I think my favorite aspect is that the series hasn't gotten repetitive at all, which usually begins to happen when the book count gets past 5. Plus, they aren't sleazy, which I think some people would expect with a character like Paris.

I so so love this series. It blows my mind that people can create this worlds that we can visit! It's hard for me to choose a favorite book in this series! I love how they interconnect the characters from previous books in the series.

Gena showalter's name comes up and i imagine High school and the huge crush i had on her books. Her books have it all romance, humour, action, hot and steamy scenes together with a little bit of darkness throw into them which produces that never ending craving readers have for them.

But!!!!!! I didn't like how gena paired gilly with some goat immortal. Gilly was meant for William so i expected the book to be on them two (william and gilly). I'm still irritated by the switch.
