The art work is warm though. This is in my opinion of the art, is telling me the hot weather conditions of Africa, that's maybe the perceptive of the artist. In my opinion. And maybe giving us info of that continent and the other overseas around it.

The cover of "Demonslayer" is a captivating depiction of the fantastical world within the book. It features intricate designs and imagery that hint at the magic and conflict within the story. While the cover alone might not have instantly compelled me to read the book, the premise and the world-building you've described certainly do. The cover does a great job of setting the tone and sparking curiosity about the world and characters within.

I did like the cover, although found it a little faded, which suits the 1976 setting. However, the story itself was not what I expected based on the cover or the title. I was expecting an adventure novel with the possibility of treasure maps.

There is a textbook feel about the cover. The map reminds me of a travel guide or a geography book.  It said little about the book's historical, political, and espionage themes.  The cover had little visual impact on me; therefore, I would skip it.  To draw in the intended audience, I advise making subtle allusions to the historical setting and the elements of a political thriller.

It shows a picture the map of the world and then with bright light shown around west Africa. The bright light here indicates a looking. I think the cover is on point.
