I'd most definitely start up my own business. There's this joy and fulfilment you get when doing something you love.

There are different advantages and disadvantages to each side. As well as different levels of risks, rewards, responsibilities and recognition. However, the satisfaction that comes from ownership is an unmatched feeling.

I think I prefer starting my own business. There is so much I can control in my own business than the former. Starting from the resources and the idea and how much time am willing to put in it.

I think that it all depends, any of them can be very nice as far one does not have only one source of income. Though a person can start with one and build another. I prefer working and having a business. You should have it both, you can never know where the wind will come from.

I think one should have atleast 1 year experience in corporate sector before starting their own business to understand the working.

At my heart, I'm an entrepreneur. There are a lot of rules and conformity within the corporate world and more flexibility to use one's creative juices as an entrepreneur.

I've always believed one must choose between becoming an entrepreneur or climbing the corporate ladder to the top. While entrepreneurship can be demanding and uncertain, especially in the initial years, I think it's possible to succeed in both paths, either simultaneously or sequentially. Many successful businesses are led by CEOs who have corporate experience, and some continue to thrive in the corporate world while managing their own ventures. This dual approach can provide valuable skills and insights beneficial to both careers.

And back to your question my answer is neither, nor because I can do both.

Lots of people would want a business of their own and me my goal is big. I think working under and established company would provide you with the finance and idea to start up yours.

I'm a fan of building my own company, but only when the conditions are right. I believe in taking calculated risks and weighing the pros and cons before making a decision. If the timing, resources, and market demand align, then starting my own business is an exciting opportunity. However, if the circumstances aren't favorable, I prefer to climb the corporate ladder, leveraging the stability and resources of an established company to build my skills and expertise. Why take a needless risk when you can learn, grow, and succeed in a supportive environment?

Without a doubt, my own company. Despite my great accomplishment, I've never performed well psychologically in a corporate setting. I am a totally different person now that I own my own company and am in charge of my time and energy.

Starting one's own business is a huge responsibility. It is like raising a child. I already have two children and I don't think I am ready for a third one. I would be more comfortable working in an already established company, at least as of now.

I honestly prefer to help people and prefer less conflict. It does not mean I can't handle it though. So I think owning my own business would fit better for me, but then again. When you start your own business, what will happen when you get sick for example? Make sure you have a backup plan!

I agree. I have friends who have followed both paths and would tell you that each has its own downfalls/negatives. That being said, they will also most likely be on the side of starting your own business! I, however, believe I would work better in an already stabilised and established environment.

This has been a question that remains lingering in my head. For me, I decide not to think about it much but watch where life takes me .
