Your point regarding the author's bias is a big part of my concern reading this. She is against traditional medical treatment and feels only natural medicine should be used - even when it comes to cancer (baking soda, vitamin C, sugar-free diet, is how she feels it should be treated). She also isn't a medical doctor so I'm struggling reading this as though she is an expert in the field without scientific evidence (which I too rely on). Because of her opinion on natural medicine, she has a lot of false data regarding traditional medicine so I'm unsure of the accuracy in this book. I'm not trying to put the author down, but I do think it is important to understand the author when information is presented as fact.Alicia Tickler wrote: ↑28 May 2024, 09:59This is my opinion as well. I appreciate this question. Based on the summary and several reviews, this book comes off as very biased. I can understand hesitations around vaccination and am open to hearing additional viewpoints however, I also rely heavily on scientific evidence in forming opinions.Tomy Chandrafrost wrote: ↑29 Apr 2024, 07:37I agree with you. Many conspiracy theories raise questions for me, but none dare to prove them validly. At least, I need scientific arguments that prove the shortcomings of vaccines.Marie Chalupová wrote: ↑26 Apr 2024, 16:53 I kind of want to yet I am not sure if it's the right book for me. There is such a division about the COVID vaccines. It's hard to know what is true. I would need hard proofs if I am to believe anything.
