This is a book of poems exploring the lives of 50 of the most influential music artists from Adele and Christina Aguilera to The Beatles and The Doors. Their stats and stories are all contained within poems, which is an impressive feat.

As soon as you mentioned legendary singers I was hooked because I love music so much. I love how you also included a living legend Beyoncé herself because I for one know I would love to read about her and how she started her journey as a musician.

Great work I would definitely try it.

This is an interesting concept, but I'm not much of a fan of poetry. I sampled a bit of the book, and although I liked what I read about each singer's bio, I wasn't overwhelmed with the verses. Nevertheless, congrats to Mr. Luper on his achievement.

The author beautifully depicts the musical influence of the 50 greatest artists of all time with his poetry. Learn about their life growing up, their managerial success, and their grievances. Each artist’s personal quotes fill up the poetry. The author follows a similar pattern in all the poems, which keeps the flow of the poems in check. That was a thorough analysis of the book. Well-done!

Thank you for thoughtful review on "Heart and Harmony: Poetic Reflections on Legendary Singers" by Archie Luper. After reading the sample from Amazon and your review, I was both happy and disappointed about the list of singers chosen because one of my favorites wasn't there lol. Kind of found it funny to see Taylor Swift listed as "legendary" when there were so many other singers older than she not listed. Still, I have put this book on my shelf and look forward to reading the poems of the legends. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

“Heart and Harmony: Poetic Reflections on Legendary Singers” by Archie Luper is written using poetry about the life stories, musical legacies and the incredible influences of the top 50 male and female singers. Using poetic format Luper explores their historical backgrounds, the start of their careers and the influence they had on the musical world and society. Luper explores their names, stage names, age when they first performed, bestselling music and adds interesting facts about each artist. The book includes 121 pages and 50 chapters, one for each singer. The book is well-written, easy to read and unearths facts and legends that I will enjoy learning about many of my favorite singers. The sample did not include the actual stories, but the dedication and preface gave a great preview of what to expect. This book definitely deserved the 5 out of 5-star rating and I have added it to my to-read list.

The author must have spent a lot of time doing research, to be able to provide such comprehensive information about 50 artists. It's quite a novel idea to present this information as poems. I'm sure the background infomation, history and influence of the artists on the musical world will be interesting to many readers. Thank you for your informative review.

Definitely not my cup of tea on all counts, because I don't like poetry and biographies and even "musical legacies, and profound influences of the top 50 legendary male and female singers". No offense, just not the sphere of my interest and congratulations with BOTD!
