I didn’t like that Lauren left on their wedding day; I feel she should have called off the wedding before then. This is an interesting plot and kudos to the author.

I am not a big fan of romance novels, but the plot, the character development, and the potential lessons I can learn pique my interest in this book. But the descriptive sexual content and the profanity are a big problem for me, as I don't enjoy them.
Thanks for the review.

"The Billionaire's Runaway Bride" by Emery Cruz is a brilliant portrait of self-awareness, presenting Lauren like she's got a plethora of timelines, while she treads carefully into her escapade. I, really, am into it.

"The Billionaire's Runaway Bride" seems like a gripping romance with plenty of drama and character depth. I'm particularly interested in how the author portrays the different forms of abuse through Lauren's experiences. The dynamic between her and Caleb sounds intense.
I believe in something greater than myself.

Unfortunately, I will have to pass this book. No offense, it is nothing personal about this story, just my own taste in literature. Romance simply doesn't have enough intrigue, because you always have two main characters and almost 99.999% guarantee that they will end up together. I need crime or conspiracy to puzzle my mind and hold interest.

This romantic novel follows Lauren as she becomes a runaway bride and gets on a bus that will lead her to meet Caleb and maybe fall in love. And I really appreciate that the concept of abuse is dealt with with such care, thanks for sharing that in your review!

Emery Cruz did a fantastic job bringing Lauren and Caleb's characters to life. I found Lauren's journey from a trapped bride to an independent woman both empowering and emotionally charged. Caleb's transformation from a wealthy playboy to someone genuinely captivated by Lauren added a compelling layer to the story.

Lauren's life is horrible. Her groom cheats on her, and her parents are dominating. She runs away from her wedding due to this and ends up in Colorado. She meets a wealthy playboy named Thatcher. Who will she end up with? Kudos to the author for making every character important.
