I'm not a big fan of historical fiction, so I haven't read the book yet; however, I'm intrigued by the positive review, and everything mentioned suggests that I might end up impressed by this book.

I would love to learn of the journey of Admiral Columbus in finding gold and what led to him changing his trade to slaves. Congrats on BOTD

History is written by winners and the Americans were the winners. Thus, Columbus became the hero despite being a villain. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

I appreciate how the author uses a native narrator to provide a fresh perspective on the historical events. It's fascinating to learn about the lesser-known aspect of Columbus as a slave trader. The reviewer's admiration for Guarocuya's loyalty and bravery is inspiring.

The effects of the slave trade have left an enormous scar on humanity's heart. Marcus Wilson's book Columbus, Slave Trader sheds significant light on the subject and presents the story uniquely. However, I still can't understand why it was a good idea to swap gold for trading slaves. This is an excellent recommendation, though.

I am surprised to learn that Columbus was a slave trader, but I like that this story is told from the perspective of Guarocuya, a native of Hispaniola. As I am not fond of historical fiction novels, I will pass on this one. However, I am pleased you found the narrative riveting and that you appreciated the book's flawless editing. Thank you for the detailed review!

Great review! I thoroughly enjoyed it! I usually don't read historical fiction, but this one is interesting as it brings to light Columbus as a slave trader.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Guarocuya's unwavering loyalty to his people will factor in his battle for their safety and freedom and how will fight the admiral’s slave trading.

I have read this book and yes, I agree with you. Most people regard Columbus as the explorer who inspires people to take chances and never give up on their quest, but this book will beg them to consider another side of this historical figure. The narrator brought a different flavour to the overall. His well kept secret that he has been to Spain and met the Queen kept me on my toes as a reader. I recommend the book to everyone, too. Thank you for sharing such a we written review. Congratulations on the selection of the BOTD.

A very well researched novel.provides a unique historical insights. The author offers a different perspective that challenges the traditional narrative about Columbus. I didn't know the dark side of him being a slave trader. It is an eye opening read. Thank you for your informative review.

'Marcus Wilson, in this historical fiction, shows the reader a different perspective on Admiral Columbus. Columbus was known as an explorer, but in this novel, the author writes about Columbus, the slave trader.'
I'm interested in knowing Columbus the slave trader because, like most, I had thought that he was an explorer.
