Congrats on BOTD!
The cover illustration first drew my attention due to its exquisite coloring and non-Ai vibe. The narrative is compelling, and I thought the little extra had a charming personality that really showed through. This is a really charming little book for kids.

This book takes us into the world of miniature animals. The book title is intriguing to start with, then the plot is even more interesting. Thank you for this great review. It gives worthy insight into the book.

The poetry is quite catching as a reader and also captures the tone to which the character speaks. Absolutely recommend this for children. 🥰

Nice review! Although it is a good book, I felt that it was more for young adults or adults, than young children. I have two small grandsons, 2 and 4, and I felt that they would not be interested in the book. Children like to look at illustrations when you read to them. There was too much wording for them to keep them entertained. Short and simple with illustrations is what keeps them interested.

"Mouse Trax" by M.H. Dixon is a book whose protagonist is Another Mouse. Born as the seventeenth child, this mouse turned out to be a brave mouse. Other characters appear in the book, such as a cunning fox and an arrogant owl.
