I love reading a romantic novel after a tiring day at work, it calms me down and always puts a smile on my face.
I enjoy reading fantasy fiction, thrillers and mysterious on my day off as it transports me to an entirely different world.

1)I think reading is a great escape from reality it makes you go away from this boring world into a world that you never knew existed with dragons and mythic creatures and it lets you escape from the boring thing called real life where everybody has expectations from you and you have to deal with responsibilities.
2)The story told by the author can be very entertaining.
3)Reading teaches you many things like how to cope with failure sadness great and so much more
4)Reading just like a parent teaches you lessons and responsibilities you have to shoulder

1. It is like being everything you wish to be in 300 pages or so. You can envision life from all kinds of perspectives,
2. It helps you understand the world better. You learn from others' mistakes or from the good things they have done and replicate them.
3.Wisdom from great thinkers from all over time.
4.Escape! I guess this should be number 1 because I think the world today is painful to live in.

Reading has always been a passion of mine, and there are so many reasons why I love it. For me, books are more than just stories; they're gateways to different worlds, cultures, and perspectives. Here are a few reasons why I find reading so enjoyable:
1. Escapism: One of the main reasons I love reading is the ability to escape into another world. Whether it's a fantastical universe, a historical era, or a contemporary setting, books provide a way to step out of my reality and into someone else's. It's a chance to experience adventures, romances, and mysteries from the comfort of my own home.
2. Learning and Growth: Reading is an incredible way to learn new things and broaden my horizons. Through books, I've explored different cultures, understood complex concepts, and gained insights into human nature. It's a constant source of knowledge and inspiration that helps me grow as a person.
3. Imagination and Creativity: There's something magical about creating vivid images and scenes in my mind as I read. Books spark my imagination and encourage me to think creatively. They allow me to envision possibilities and explore ideas that I might not encounter in my daily life.
4. Connection and Empathy: Reading helps me connect with characters and understand their emotions, struggles, and triumphs. It fosters empathy by allowing me to see the world through different perspectives. This understanding of diverse experiences helps me become more compassionate and open-minded.
5. Relaxation and Comfort: There's a unique comfort in curling up with a good book. It's a way to unwind, relax, and find solace in the words on the page. Whether it's a gripping thriller or a heartwarming romance, reading is a comforting escape from the stresses of everyday life.
In a world filled with distractions, reading remains a constant source of joy and enrichment. It's a hobby that not only entertains but also enlightens, challenges, and transforms. That's why I love reading, and I hope to continue discovering new stories and ideas for years to come.

I did not know my letters well but I could read the words 'The Times of India' along with a host of commonly used words by the time I was 3. I just never stopped.
I like to learn new things and use them to help me in my life. I have noticed that my reading has given me a very different perspective from the community that I live in. It helps that my parents are readers as well as my sister so before my marriage we had times when everyone would sit around with their respective books and read
