*Saboteur* by Kevin Murphy is a gripping exploration of sabotage in its many forms, blending historical intrigue with a modern-day thriller. Murphy deftly weaves together the story of a small resistance group fighting against an oppressive regime, with the inner turmoil of individuals struggling with their own moral boundaries. The characters are complex and relatable, each facing difficult choices that challenge their sense of right and wrong. The pacing is tight, with just the right amount of tension to keep you on edge. Murphy’s attention to detail, especially in the historical elements, adds depth and authenticity to the narrative. *Saboteur* is a compelling read that keeps you questioning what you would do in the face of tyranny and how far you would go to protect what you believe in.well written review ,keep it up .

I wonder if Ben is German, which may explain why he aligned with the Germans. I'm not really a historical fiction fan, especially one set in WWI, so I may pass on this book.

This review demonstrates that well-crafted historical fiction can powerfully help readers reimagine events, vividly bringing them to life through the author's detailed narrative. It offers a deeper understanding of the scenarios depicted. I appreciate how your review thoroughly captures the author’s work, and it’s clear that you enjoyed reading it. Your account of the book’s details has sparked my interest, and I’m now eager to learn more about the French efforts in transporting munitions for the Allied war effort during World War I. I’m also curious to discover the minor details that may have been overlooked or underemphasized in history. Thank you for the great review. Congratulations to the author on being selected as the book of the month.

Saboteur sounds like an incredible blend of history and fiction. The detailed research and vivid portrayal of Halifax in 1917 must make the story come alive. Ben Stendt's character complexity adds depth, making this historical thriller a must-read for anyone who enjoys suspenseful, well-crafted narratives.
