Ghost Bride on Netflix

Post by Gravy »

Let me preface this by saying, I have never wanted to know a language so badly in my life.

That said, the subtitles are amazing and I'm so glad I got to see this!

This is a different entity than the book. The basic story is there, but there's so much changed that it's nearly unrecognizable.
Somehow, I still enjoyed it (possibly more than the book  ).

As with the book, Er Lang is still my favorite character.
The dynamic between Er Lang and Li Lan is fantastic.

I want another season. I want it released on dvd. I want to watch it a million more times!

Please say I'm not the only one whose watched this?
Pronouns: She/Her

Grief is just love with no place to go.

I loved the book! I didn't watch the movie, yet. I am glad it is good.

I think the movie was mediocre. The CGI was good, and some of the characters were okay, with some good moments, but everything else is just disappointing.
