This looks like a very intricate and challenged love story between Catrin and Marcellus. Will they ever be together and reunite after all? This historical fiction being a mixture of fantasy, romance and adventure make it very complex. Catrin herself is a complex character. She is a druid warrior, who lost the love of her life, became a tortured servant and must still help lift a curse. What an adventure!

"Amulet's Rapture" appears to be captivating historical romance that masterfully weaves together ancient cultures, mythological elements, and a passionate love story. Linnea Tanner's vivid descriptions will transport readers to a bygone era, investing us in Catrin and Marcellus's tumultuous journey.

Linnea Tanner is such a literary talent, and she keeps proving it. This is a great book—really, really good! I liked that there was a summary of previous books at the beginning, making this book possible as a standalone. But no one wants to read this as a standalone; one can't just miss the exciting prequels. This one is more focused on Catrin, and I love it. Huge congrats on BOTD! Remarkable review by the way :tiphat: .

I like that this book contains references to characters from the previous books in the series, but I will have to pass on this book. Thank you for the review.

It seems like a well-developed hystorical novel, and well-thought as well by having all these nice summaries and list of characters. The plot seems interesting too given the romance and the angst the protagonists suffer, so based on these reasons, maybe I should give it a try!

The review of *Amulet's Rapture* by Linnea Tanner provides an in-depth look at the third installment of the *Curse of Clansmen and Kings* series, highlighting key elements that would appeal to both new and returning readers. I appreciated the reviewer's focus on Catrin's strength and resilience as a central character, particularly her ability to endure emotional and physical suffering, which seems to add depth to the storyline. The mention of her shapeshifting abilities and her significant role in breaking a curse hints at the mystical elements woven into the historical context, which sounds intriguing.

Additionally, the reviewer’s appreciation for the summary of the previous books and the list of characters at the back shows that the book is accessible for those who may not have read the earlier installments, although reading the first two books is recommended for a fuller understanding. This detail is useful for anyone considering diving into the series from this point.

What stands out most in the review is the complex relationships between characters like Catrin and Marcellus, and how these relationships evolve under the pressures of war, enslavement, and political intrigue. It seems that Catrin's journey from a warrior to a gladiatrix, while maintaining her inner strength and fighting spirit, is a major draw for readers who enjoy strong, multifaceted female protagonists.

Lastly, the review touches on the darker elements of the book, such as the abuse Catrin suffers, which adds layers of tension and drama to her character arc. It's clear from the review that *Amulet’s Rapture* blends historical fiction, romance, and elements of mythology, making it an appealing read for fans of historical romance with a touch of fantasy.

I have read the first book in this series and genuienly loved Catrin's character. Her fearlessness in the face of imminent danger, her ability to stay true to herself amongst everything going around her makes her a formidable female protagonist. I look forward to enjoying this book. Thanks for a wonderful review!

I will like to know what caused Marcellus Antonius to forget his time in Britannia and if Catrin will forgive him and rekindle their love.

Amulet's rupture is the third book in a trilogy and follows the life of Marcellus and his forbidden love Catrin. The two got married and Marcellus returns to his hometown. What does the future hold for them? Will Carin tap into her raven powers to save her now in danger husband? The author provides sufficient backstory and a summary of the previous books, hence this book can read as a standalone.

Hi @Margi zuu202, I just read your comments on the official review of "Amulet's Rapture" and I was disappointed that your comments were so brief and did not get to the heart of the story. This is book 3 in this amazing series and there are so many things happening in the story. Granted, she wants to save her kingdom but there is so much more at stake. The fact that she can see through the eyes of a raven, she is a warrior and believes in herself makes this an awesome story. @Mrlefty0706

Hi @Sarah Zain, I just read your comments on the official review of "Amulet’s Rapture, Book 3 in the Curse of the Clansmen and King series” and I highly recommend that you read the entire sample. This is the 3rd book in the series and Catrin is incredible hero that is determined to save her kingdom from the Romans. There are multiple plots but the most important is Catrin reversing the curse that has been cast on her family. @Mrlefty0706
