To me, the cover of the book aligns with the title. It gives a calming effect and, at first glance, seems quite mysterious, or, if one may say, deceptive.

The book cover is eye catching, from the bridge to the certificate of Venessa, an absolute plus for the book.

The cover of Deceptive Calm by Patricia Skipper give the impression of a typical romance novel at first glance, but the story within offers so much more. Though visually appealing, doesn’t fully capture the layers of psychological and emotional intricacy found within the story. Once you dive into the book, you quickly realize that it transcends its genre, offering a much richer narrative than the cover might suggest.

The cover of Deceptive Calm is striking and effectively captures the book's themes. The imagery reflects a sense of tension and complexity, aligning well with the historical and emotional depth of the story.

Honestly, the cover was a little lacklustre to me. It was not what drew me into the book; instead, the description sold it for me. However, I appreciate that the cover makes sense for the story and contains elements from it.

The cover of this book makes me think of how enigmatic and unusual it can be to cross something. The layout of this bridge makes me believe that it is not just that, but a painting that evokes a focal point dissociated from reality to draw attention to the superfluous. And that is where the message that must be discovered lies.

At first glance it feels like there's a lot going on, especially with "calm" in the title. If the birth certificate wasn't there, it'd probably feel like the perfect amount of "noise". But I'm assuming the birth certificate is vital to the plot

To be honest I didn't pay too much attention to the cover's details at first. I do however like the bridge reflecting, it gives a serene vibe which ties in with the title. I have only recently discovered the birth certificate. What a lovely little extra that is!

I understand the elements of the cover a lot more since I've read the book. But honestly, if I were scrolling through a list of books and saw this cover, I would barely register it. The cover isn't ugly, but it's unstimulating. I would scroll past the book.

Although I haven't finished reading the book, but the cover was nice and it somehow reflects on the book's storyline. Also, the cover of the book gave me hint of what to expect and how to comprehend the story easily.

The cover selection is perfect with the colors, very fitting for the book and the name. I love it. For me looking mainly at the bridge, It meant crossing over to an adventure. So I was looking forward to the full discovery of what the title will reveal in the book.

I loved the cover of the book. I have just finished reading it and loved it. That being said, I was surprised at how it matches the book, how calming it feels and how catching it is.

I liked the cover of this book. I think the author made a good choice using this picture of the famous bridge. The bridge can symbolize a connection between two things, two different worlds.

I find the cover to be quite evocative. It reminds me of old photographs from that era, and it stirs a sense of nostalgia and curiosity within me.
