Benny’s Brave Adventures - The Great Forest Troublemaker is a children’s book by Hong Z. McCormick. The story begins with a fine and peaceful morning in a forest called Whispering Woods. But the calm air of Whispering Woods starts getting disturbed when Rocky Raccoon gets up and about pulling his mischievous pranks on anyone he finds. Fergus the Fox, Charlie the Chipmunk, and more animals soon became victims of Rocky’s pranks.

Benny the Bunny has been observing this and has tried to reason with Rocky about how the pranks were more of a nuisance for the animals. However, Rocky disagrees with Benny. Soon, something happens that makes Rocky realize what he has done. What happens makes Rocky feel a change of heart and what he does afterward makes this a story worth reading.

This is an adorable story about the distinction between fun and nuisance, caring for each other, showing kindness, and forgiveness. There are bright, colorful, and realistic illustrations that make this book appealing to children. The characters have interesting names that add to the element of fun in the book.

I enjoyed reading this book a lot. I liked the story and loved the illustrations. There was nothing to dislike. However, the book could have been better for a few reasons. Firstly, the title is about Benny, who is a bunny. But the cover photo and the adventures told the story of Rocky Raccoon. Although the book is part of Benny’s Adventure series, someone unaware of the series may not find the title suitable enough.

Secondly, I found some of the illustrations incoherent. For example, there was a basket in a scene that looked different in all the pictures depicting that scene. Similarly, in one of the illustrations, Rocky looked bigger than Benny, while it was the opposite in others. Such changes in the sizes of different characters are seen multiple times across the book. Lastly, several grammatical errors show that the book wasn’t professionally edited. For these reasons, I give this book a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Other than that, this is an enjoyable book that young readers would love to read.

"As someone who loves finding engaging books for children, Benny’s Brave Adventures - The Great Forest Troublemaker sounds like a delightful read! I really appreciate stories that teach important lessons, like the difference between fun and being a nuisance, while also highlighting kindness and forgiveness. The idea of Rocky Raccoon learning from his mistakes adds a valuable moral dimension to the story, and it sounds like a book kids could both enjoy and learn from.

Benny’s Brave Adventures - "The Great Forest Troublemaker" sounds like a charming story that teaches important lessons about kindness and the difference between fun and nuisance. The colorful illustrations seem appealing for young readers, and the premise of Rocky Raccoon's change of heart adds an intriguing element. I'd be curious to see how the story develops Benny's character alongside Rocky.
