This review beautifully highlights the themes of resilience and leadership in *Dumb Orphans*. I agree that Aiyasha's growth, despite the odds, is inspiring, and the contrast between selfish and selfless leaders is eye-opening. Allan Low’s story shows that even the less privileged can rise above challenges with determination. It's a great recommendation for young readers who can learn from these powerful lessons.

The poignant tale of resiliency and the ability to overcome hardship is found in Allan Low's "Dumb" Orphans: A Bundu Bunch Trilogy. We learn from Aiyasha and her fellow orphans that hope and perseverance can shatter the most stigmatised labels in society. For teenagers and anybody who believes in the strength of compassion and willpower, this book is essential reading.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting young adult fiction about an orphan that must take responsibility for other orphans in an environment where that is not easy to do. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

No matter how bad the circumstances might be, there will always be one person brave enough to change the narrative. This is a beautiful review, and congratulations on BOTD.

Upon reading the sample and the official review of Allan Low’s “Dumb” Orphans”, I agree that this book is one that fuels compassion and empathy for an overpopulated group of unfortunate orphans that go overlooked everyday. The realistic tone of this piece is heart wrenching and with the themes of resilience and determination, it is hard not to feel deeply moved by the Bundu Bunch’s story. Positions of power will absolutely show one’s true colors and it’s is shameful that one would think to use theirs to abuse children that have already been neglected and abandoned. “Dumb” Orphans” deserves 5 stars, indeed!

It's amazing how many lessons the author is able to teach in such a simple layout and I feel the review above accurately describes what the author accomplishes.
Pleasant to read, you don't really feel like you're getting a cultural education, but it's a lot and a great achievement by the author. Thank you for your review!

I loved sampling this book.

I felt so much for the children, who first had to stay so far away from their mothers and then we're orphaned and sort of rejected by their people. Aiyasha seems to be a promising character I just hope the children succeeded in their lives .

The main characters, Meyego and Aiyasha seem to be interesting ones so I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to know them and find out how they change the lives of people they interact with and the society they belong to.

It reminds us that every child deserves attention and support, and that adversity can be faced with courage and hope.
