In this installment of the series, Lara Edmond and her husband, Uri Levin are summoned from their relaxing vacations, after a brutal assault on a shopping mall. This story seems to be full of action and suspense, so it will definitely appeal to readers who enjoy international thrillers.

The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is a wild blend of action, suspense, and romance. Uri Levin and Lara Edmond, who are finally enjoying some downtime on a family farm, get called back into action to track down the culprits of a shocking attack in a Beverly Hills mall. But the mission quickly escalates, leading them on a dangerous path that includes an infiltration into major banks targeted by the same terrorist group. Are they after cash, gold, or something bigger? With vivid scenes in the Caribbean and high-stakes teamwork among security agencies, this one’s a must-read for any political thriller fan. Congratulations on being BOTD!

I enjoyed reading a few pages of the BOTD and look forward to reading the rest of the book ,From the review I now see that this thriller is part of a sequel and may consider reading from the First one .Lara and Uri make a great team as they investigate the bombing of a mall in L.A where they have been enjoying a vacation and are soon engrossed in finding the terrorists together with other law enforcement agencies. The book is a political thriller with a great story line ,can't wait to find out how they catch the bad guys .

Very interesting to read multiple reviews on the same book. The comment that the struggle against the terrorist group seems to be minimal, and escape seemed to have come easy, is an interesting one. I like political thrillers and have the series on my to read list. For this one specifically, I am ready to daydream while reading the beautiful descriptions of the Carribean Sea.

Terror is a disease that we must unite to end. The Lara and Uri series is a masterpiece of fiction, giving us clues on how to do so. Just like the other books in the series, The Date Farm is an amazing work of creativity. I read it a couple of years back, loved it, and I recommend it!

The Lara and Uri series takes on a well known fear, terrorism, to create a fantastic piece of fiction that might be too realistic. One second, everything is calm, the next, bombs are destroying a shopping mall. Now it is up to Lara and Uri to stop the terrorists before their next attack.

Great review! I think that this one is one of my favorite books in the Lara and Uri series. Although most of them start out with a massacre of some sort, I still enjoy the books.

The Date Farm by Jack Winnick sounds like a thrilling read! The storyline of undercover agents Lara and Uri navigating the dangers of a government-controlled farm promises suspense and high stakes. Winnick’s series continues to captivate readers, and it's great to know this can be enjoyed as a standalone book too.

The book sounds interesting and really fast paced with lots of actions moving from one place to another in a seemingly never ending chase for terrorists. Besides there are so many vivid and masterful descriptions that you can imagine yourself a part of it. At the same time the book seems to have too much politics so I'll pass this time. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
