No, but my husband wants to name our first daughter Peyton after 'the hottest chick' in his favorite tv show.

Both of my sons have biblical names. My name was the from the name of a character in a book my mom read in high school.

I have no children at this time but I do have pets. With naming my dogs, I did not think to name them after characters in a book or movie. I basically just named them by names I have liked for years.

No, but my sons middle name is Jason because from July-November 2013 I went through the biggest change in my life which led to having him and the first letter of those months spell Jason. Jul, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov. His first name is Aiden just because :)

If I had children I would probably choose an Irish name- as I am from Ireland. I would use the proper Gaeilge spelling and not the anglicised versions you see in England or America. Some family names have been passed down through the generations so I would also have a look at the family tree.

I did not name my daughter after a character. However, I knew a girl in college who was named Eliza, in honor of Elizabeth Bennet in Pride & Prejudice. Unfortunately, she herself did not like the character.

My older daughter's name came from an episode of Star Trek. My younger daughter's name is from the Bible. I have a friend who named his boys after comic book characters-their alter-egos, not their hero names.

My husband wanted to name our son James Tiberius. Our last name starts with a Ki, so naturally he thought it was a good idea. I however was not a fan. We settled on the names Ryder and London for our daughter.

I am always finding names that I like in the books I have read. But when I run them past my boyfriend for our future children, he shoots them all down. My favorite one from the book Silence by Natasha Preston is Oakley. I love that name soo much.
