This children's story addresses the topic of asthma by presenting a plot revolving around a fish. Alfie. The book conveys some essential life lessons and tips on asthma and its management. It sounds entertaining and educational.

I had the exact same thought when I first saw the headline about a fish with asthma! I dismissed it initially, but now that I see your comment, I'm back to wondering the same thing.

I appreciate how the book educates while entertaining, but I wonder if it might be misleading for children, especially those who may not understand the symbolism. They might end up believing that fish can actually get asthma, which seems unlikely.

No worries, they've got parent or adults to clarify their thoughts, and if that doesn't work, they would just know better when they get older.

I didn't know a book about an asthmatic fish could be this interesting! I'm really looking forward to finding out how Alfie overcomes his challenges. I don't personally know anyone with asthma , so I hope this book gives me some insight. Can't wait to read it! :techie-reference:

This is a good review.
The book is an interesting way to introduce the topic of health issues to the patients (children), parents and their carers.

It was unique to educate young readers about a health issue in a friendly and fun way using Alfie. I am certain the message will hit home and impact the target audience. Nice review.

"Alfie's Attack" by David Bohline shows the power of imagination and creativity; by telling the tale, informing the readers, teaching the parent, and proffering possible measures to ameliorate the increasing level of asthmatic challenges among the children.

It is a children's book, but, not for them alone - but for the parents, teachers, and everyone in society.

This book is a problem-solving one, and an educative book that is a must-read for every concerned person. In fact, Alfie's attack is ranked 5/5 because Alfie is the fish that tells the unusual story and solves the widespread problem.

My kids loved it so much that to this day, in my opinion, the best children's story about fish is the "Finding Nemo" cartoon. No offense meant to anyone, despite the great description, I will have to skip the book, because my babies are way too grown up for it. Congratulations with BOTD, anyway!

'Alfie is a brave and talented fish, but he has one major problem: he is asthmatic. This has caused him a whole lot of inconvenience, including difficulty breathing during the episode.'
An asthmatic fish? This is strangely funny and interesting.

"Alfie's Attack" by David Bohline is a children's book in which the main character is a brave and talented fish named Alfie. Unfortunately Alfie is asthmatic. I like that the book tries to increase awareness about asthma.
