Story telling can be used in an array of ways as demonstrated here. The educational purpose of the story seems to hit the right mark, by making the specs and useful tips accessible to young readers who are daunted by this issue.
The illustration on the cover seems wonderful. Choosing the sea, gives an advantage to use lots of blue which is a calming colour. Different sea creatures as the characters D’Octopus are sure to capture the young readers mind.
I enjoyed reading this detailed review, which gave me a better idea about the book,as the sample pages available for free were limited to make a sense of the theme .

It's great that the author used this children's book as a way of raising awareness and educating about asthma in children. Alfie's Attack will be both entertaining and educational, which is perfect.

The review provided valuable insights. The book sounds captivating, especially with Alfie's battle with asthma and his encounter with a hungry shark. I'm excited to dive in and discover how Alfie's journey unfolds and what surprises the author has in store.

This seems like a very adventurous children's book full of important lessons. The author used Alfie, a fish, to create awareness about Asthma. I can't wait to read it!

Great review! I am happy to learn that D'Octopus, the ocean health professional, intervenes after Alfie has his run-in with the shark. I was just able to read the table of contents and view the cover artwork in the sample. This sounds like a great little children's book though.

I might be way too mature to find this book as interesting as the age group it is intended for, but I can still understand perfectly well why "Alfie's Attack" by David Bohline gained such high praise. Especially, after testing personally how the story is illustrated and written, I wholeheartedly congratulate the author on BOTD!
