“Alfie’s Attack” by David Bohline is a story about a brave fish that has asthma. While this breathing disease has caused issues for Alfie, he learns about big world problems when he swims away from his home area and encounters a shark that sees him as dinner. There is a surprise for both of them. This is a book for children and asthma is one of the common health issues faced by children. Bohline used this story to create awareness of this issue and shows ways to manage it. This should be an eye-opener for many readers that do not know what causes asthma and how it can be managed. The last chapter of the book has a What to Do section of the Notes to Parents, that should be educational for all readers especially parents.

What a fun way for children to learn about asthma. I love when authors of children's books incorporate educational themes in their stories.

Parents and children alike will benefit from reading Alfie's story and learning how he lives with his health condition.

The BOTD is a well crafted health book written in a kid friendly format offering great information about asthma,I am so impressed by how well done it is because asthma is a common ailment and I believe,"Alfie's Attack" by David Bohline will give children, parents and care givers of asthmatic patients a very good resource to guide them .

As it has been rightly described that the book has taken into consideration that it appeals to kids as well as adults and that is what the review describes it perfectly , as both the parties should enjoy reading it , the adults can still read something that is pale and boring , but the kids are attracted with anything that is colourful , and to turn it into a meaningful lesson is the best way to write a book to enhance a child's knowledge specially when it comes to there health , so a rightfully written review it is

I really enjoyed reading this review of Alfie's Attack! The Story of a Fish with Asthma. It sounds like David Bohline has done a wonderful job combining an engaging storyline with practical, educational content about asthma. I love that the character, Alfie, faces his asthma head-on while also learning some valuable life lessons. The encounter with the shark seems like a clever way to teach resilience and kindness, which are such important qualities for children. I also appreciate that the book includes detailed sections like "Alfie's Rescue" and "Notes to Parents" to provide more information and tips on managing asthma. It sounds like a book that would be both enjoyable and helpful for children dealing with similar health challenges, as well as for their parents. The illustrations and error-free writing make it even more appealing. This review has definitely sparked my interest in reading this book!

The material is presented in an accessible manner and the author pens useful insights on what parents or caregivers should do when their child suffers an asthma attack. The story is playful and Alfie's encounter with a shark will entertain readers.

Using fish as the main character for a children's book is a brilliant idea, and I like how Alfie is portrayed as courageous.

I find this book hilarious, especially with Alfie, a fish who somehow has trouble breathing in water! I can't imagine what inspired the author to come up with this idea, but it definitely cracks me up. I’m excited to dive into the book, and the review makes it all the more endearing. Congratulations to the author for being selected BOTD.

I love quality children's storybooks, and David Bohline's effort is definitely in that conversation. Alfie is a brave fish but is also asthmatic—a creative storyline indeed. Based on reviews, the storyline introduces awareness of this health issue, medical information, and effective management—an awesome picture of an interesting book with strong educational features! Huge congrats on BOTD, and I’ll definitely get this book soon :roll2: .

An asthmatic, courageous, and talented fish finding itself in the presence of a hungry shark, what would happen next?! I surely don't know, but this is a beautiful book and very informative too on the asthmatic medical condition and how to effectively manage it, making it a highly effective and thoughtful book for kids. "Alfie's Attack!" would be a great way to pass such a vital condition like this to kids and other readers, and I congratulate the author so much.
