Poetry is a difficult style for me to read, and at the same time I love theatre. The unpleasant background setting of the book speaks to me, the romance a bit less. I am probably not the right audience for this book but it sounds like it has a lot to offer.

Very well written book, set against the backdrop of a
love story, permeated by poems, from other languages, showing the author's great knowledge of history, geography and especially poetry, providing readers with a rich and informative reading.
As a lover of reading and poetry, I loved the book.

Diotima: Romantic Drama by Bernard Kuckuck was a sterling work evoking romantic and poetical play in the middle century in Europe showcasing Hölderlin's brilliance in literature. This is the best way to learn and deliver poems.

The book sounds like a deep emotional story since it's poetic. I love this story already and I hope to read it soon.

Not sure what sets this apart from other romances. Hölderlin would most likely hook up with Susette. His desires are commonplace and an easy glove for the typical normal reader to fit their hand in.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

It seems Diotima is a beautiful heart fluttering story. Even poetry and theatre is actually not my genre, it sounds alluring. I'm sure it would be nice choice for who loves poetry romance. Thank you for your review

It's always beautiful to see play and poetry play together. It opens the mind to a world of possibilities and words that aren't commonly available in regular vocabulary. Even the book's title speaks to its uniqueness.

A wonderful treat for poetry, history, and theatre lovers can be found in the book "Diotima: Romantic Drama" by Bernard Kuckuck. The play centers around a young poet who dreams of travel and learning.

Diotima sounds like a beautifully crafted play that blends romance, poetry, and history. It follows the journey of Hölderlin, a young poet, who finds his muse and love in Susette, his very own Diotima. Their love story is both passionate and tragic, set against the backdrop of a turbulent Europe. The play’s use of poetic language and historical detail seems to transport readers back in time, making it a deeply immersive experience. It’s great to hear that it left such a strong impression on you!

I'm not a great fan of poetry and prefer to watch a play rather than read it. The book sounds dramatic, passionate and tragic and will appeal to readers who like those elements. Thank you for your informative review.

I just love staudlin's confidence, real changes have no beginning and have no end, let time do it's part. That is the kind of optimistic minds every one should build to achieve in any dream..good book.

I love poetry. The application of romance within it is sure to give a reader a rollercoaster ride of emotions as the journey continues.
